In search of Bakersfield Beach

Boogie woogie, swingin', horse ass whinin' rough & tumble hay bale full of 3 Minute Lovin'.

On mission to recover the early roots of country and rock music in the "Bakersfield" sounds of Buck Owens, Tommy Collins, and Don Rich but mixed heavily with the 50's rockabilly and 60' surf tones that were shaped by that classic American Backersfield sound.

About 3 Minute Lovin'

The members of 3 Minute Lovin' fell together as a result of their search and love for high-energy dance-able music.  The musicians come from various backgrounds and united in their appreciation of old-school music.  The band has embarked on mission to recover the early roots of country and rock music in the "Bakersfield" sounds of Buck Owens, Tommy Collins, Don Rich and so on -- musicians that shaped the influence of 50's rock and 60' surf tones that the band reproduces in their movin' and shakin' classic American music.

Members of:
10 Dollar Sins, The Rum Runners, F-150, Lonesome Drifters, Jug Busters, Visible Shivers, Lap Dogs, MR Ducks, All Together Now, Electric Woodshed, The Kind.

Currently with Rum Runners, and 10 Dollar Sins, and formerly with F-150, Jugbusters, and Lonesome Drifters.

Danny Ray "Achy Breaky" Dunlap
3ML Buckaroos

Guitar, Vocals

Currently with Electric Woodshed and The Kind, and owner Rocket Music.

"I'm not a big fan of music, but I like the hats. I got me one of them amplifiers that makes my guitar loud, and it holds my hat too."

Steve "Not Paul" McCartney
3ML Buckaroos

Bass

Formerly with MR Ducks and Beatle cover band All Together Now because when your name is McCartney, you play bass.

"In my day, bass only had 1 string. Now they got them new-fangled 4 string basses. It beats all."

Richard "Jesse" Wallace
3ML Buckaroos

Drums

Currently with 10 Dollar Sins and formerly a drummer, so everyone hires him at some point.

"I like drums and motorcycles because they make loud rumbly noises and shake the walls."
